Brew Amount:

.75 - 1.5 tsp per 8oz (1 cup)

To find the perfect concentration for your desired taste, experiment with different quantities of tea. Since each tea has a unique flavor profile, you may need to adjust the amount accordingly.

How much is in each jar?

Tiny ~ 1.5 oz ~ 6 tsps

makes 6-8 cups depending on strength preference

Small ~ 2 oz ~ 10 tsps

makes 10-13 cups depending on strength preference

Medium ~ 4 oz ~ 18 tsps

makes 18-24 cups depending on strength preference

Large ~ 6 oz ~ 29 tsps

makes 29-38 cups depending on strength preference

Temperatures:

Black  ~ 212°F (boiling)  for  3-5  minutes

Green ~ 170°F (not boiling) for 1-2 minutes

Herbal (Tisane) ~ 212°F (boiling) for 5-10 minutes

Black/Green Blends ~ 170°F (not boiling) for 2-3 minutes

Black/Herbal Blends ~ 212°F (boiling) for 4-6 minutes

What is the difference in the kinds of tea?

Black Tea:

Renowned for its rich color, robust flavor, and stimulating caffeine content, black tea stands as the most oxidized of all teas.

Green Tea:

Preserved in its natural state just after plucking, green tea undergoes minimal oxidation, resulting in a delicate pale green hue and a distinctive earthy flavor.

White Tea:

Born from the tender buds of young tea plants, white tea embodies the essence of purity. With minimal processing, it boasts a light color, a naturally sweet flavor, and an abundance of antioxidants.

Herbal Teas:

A symphony of flavors and aromas, herbal teas are caffeine-free infusions crafted from various flowers, roots, fruits, leaves, or seeds. They are often sought after for their wellness-promoting properties.

Shannon Morgan, a passionate tea blender, began her journey at 19. For over 15 years, she has crafted unique blends, sourced leaves, expanded into spices, and created delightful flavors. Her blends can be found at fairs and festivals nationwide. Beyond blending, she is a leatherworker and masquerade mask maker, currently creating leather teacup holsters to be released in Summer 2024.
